- The relationship between Literature, Writing, and Technology is a very strained one. I feel it is possible for all three to exist although the writer’s point of view disagrees to an extent stating that technology has led to a new format of writing like how classical literature has slowly died yet what has risen is new forms of music. That is how I believe that both literature and technology can exist. Because of technology being able to write stories as well as just post them for others to view is easier now more than ever. It leads to many more forms of literature classic or even new forms that perhaps are yet to be discovered.
- I might see the technology change the stories of today and of the future by somehow seeing it being broken down into a easy part when it comes to reading and understanding the stories. And people will be more into stories with the help of technology because there will be such underlying issues behind those stories that were being published online, and that issues are not serious I believe.
Even with the tropes, in my opinion, it has changed already, because of how far our technology have become. Just like this following excerpt from the article “In the future, all novels will invoke a kind of operative irony; post-Twitter, post-whatever-comes-after-what-comes-after-Twitter. Who are these ‘super subtle fry’, your characters, who have all this time in which to become rich, deep selfhoods? Where do you find these interesting subjects of yours?” It is indeed well-said.
- Technology I feel does give more genres of literature to write about yet at the same time it also gives more ways in which to avoid writing about works as well. All the distractions that come with technology make it very hard for those who are not dedicated to their craft to fall on deadlines and procrastinate. In that sense I do agree with Litt’s comments on how technology makes writing obsolete.
- Reading on a screen or in this case my laptop is different and took some time to get used to. The convenience of it is second to none. I can pull up mounds of information in seconds and pull up any literature needed in minutes. It is why I feel technology can work well with literature and writing and again on the opposite spectrum there is a ton of information that can be pulled up to distract me from my work which is why it does take some time to get used to and some personal boundaries need to be placed. Moreover, my reading comprehension is just completely fine. There are no changes with my comprehension be it in reading through screen and various interfaces, and in physical books. Even if there are no major effects on me in regards of reading on a screen and in any interfaces, but then again, there is still some minor effects on me. It is uncomfortable in reading in a screen and any interfaces because it can either have a small screen to read at and it will be incredibly a bothersome to zoom what I am reading in and out.

I agree with you reading on a screen or through these various interfaces makes it easier for me to access various forms of information online. It does not affect my learning at all I can retain the information I learned through reading. Reading books online feels more comfortable to me and I feel like I can understand it more.
